CVOA RANGE: A BIG BANG FOR YOUR BUCK
At our rife, trap and pistol range, you will definitely get a bang for your buck.
CVOA has built and maintains a top-notch shooting range in a first class setting. It sits just 1.7 miles north of the Sugarloaf Access Road.
It's backdrop: The spectacular Bigelow Mountain Range.
Our range was built on the backs of hard-working volunteers, who work tirelessly to keep it clean and up-to-date.
It features a state-of-the-art trap machine used for weekly shoots throughout the summer and fall, a 6-pistol range and eight picnic tables built by CVOA members and used for our fabulous cookouts.
The range is now plowed in the winter and is used by the border patrol and other law enforcement personnel for weapons training and qualifications.
Programs with area youth are also being planned for the summer.
It's an incredible bargain, too: Just $15 a person for any member of CVOA to join.

WE'RE OPEN!! The range is open for the season for rifle and pistol shooting. Trap shoots start July 11 and will be held every Sunday. Anyone trained on how to use the trap machine can use it now. Please leave $5 in the coffee can in the trap house for each round of 25 clays. |
