Ocean Views, Seafood, Ice Cream

CVOA will be sponsoring a day of biking on the southern Maine coast. We'll be offering both a 20-mile loop and a 30-mile ride with scenic views. Both groups will  be departing from the University of New England on Rt.9 in Biddeford at 9 am June 9.

OPTION 1

Distance: 30 mile coastal ride from U.N.E. along back roads into Kennebunkport following Rt.9 along the coast, past Walkers Point, back onto Rt.9 into Cape Porpoise with dining options available at the Pier.

Riding back onto Rt.9 into Goose Rocks, Fortunes Rocks, and around Biddeford Pool with a stop at the Pool Lobster Company, also with food purchase options. Then riding back to U.N.E. which is about 3 miles from that point.

Option II

Distance: 20 miles riding from U.N.E. onto Rt.9 into Cape Porpoise. Leaving Cape Porpoise then riding into Goose Rocks, Fortunes Rocks, and Biddeford Pool.

Both rides have options for great seafood and ice cream purchases along the way with beautiful ocean view, lighthouses and homes.
