The trap shooting schedule at the CVOA range is being modified
through September to reflect the lower use the range has experienced during
the summer months the last couple of years. Effective immediately, the trap
shoots will not take place every week but will occur on a scheduled basis.
The next shoot is scheduled for July 24, and will be held every
other week through September. The other dates are August 7, August 21,
September 4, September 18 and October 2. The shoots will continue to be run
from 9 a.m. to noon.
During October and early November, when shooting interest picks
up, the trap shoots will be held every week.
Please save this list of dates for your future reference. And,

Those trap shooters who have been trained on the use of the
machine may continue to use it whenever they wish. And, of course, all
range members may continue to use the rifle and pistol ranges during any
