Trip Times: 2 1/2 to 3
hours paddling time
Put in between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM
Put In Location: North Branch
Bridge, King & Barttlet Rd., Off Route 27, Eustis, Maine
Take Out Location: Wing Community
Beach, Eustis Maine
Portage: One very
short portage at the Eustis Dam, about 100 yards, easy put in below.
BBQ & Pot Luck Lunch Gathering:

NOTE: Parking at King & Bartlett Bridge
and retrieval of vehicles will be co-ordinated by
CVOA Hosts and information will be provided at the put in location.
This Kayak & Canoe trip is an easy 2-3 hour
flat-water paddle downstream along the North Branch of the Dead River
from King & Bartlett Bridge to Flagstaff
Lake. Gorgeous views of
the Bigalow Mountain Range, followed by a pot luck BBQ at the Wing Community's Beach and Common Area
in Eustis. Hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken will be provided. A $5 per person
donation to CVOA is suggested.
