For those of you unfamiliar with our range...
At our rife, trap and pistol range, you will definitely get a bang for your buck.
CVOA
has built and maintains a top-notch shooting range in a first class
setting. It sits just 1.7 miles north of the Sugarloaf Access Road.
It's backdrop: The spectacular Bigelow Mountain Range.
Our range was built on the backs of hard-working volunteers, who work tirelessly to keep it clean and up-to-date.
It features a state-of-the-art trap machine used for weekly shoots
throughout the summer and fall, a 6-pistol range and eight picnic
tables built by CVOA members and used for our fabulous cookouts.
The
range is now plowed in the winter and is used by the border patrol and
other law enforcement personnel for weapons training and
qualifications.
Programs with area youth are also being planned for the summer.
It's an incredible bargain, too: Just $15 a person for any member of CVOA to join.
