MOOSEHEAD ADVENTURE A SELLOUT!
More than 50 CVOA members head to north woods for hiking, biking and boating
CVOA is heading for the north woods July 9-11 for a weekend outing at Maynard's sporting camps.
Interest in the trip is so high we've filled all the cabins at Maynard's, a few hotel rooms down the road and a few tent spots along the Moose River.
There are still nearby motel and rooms available and a few tent spots at Maynard's ... so book quick if you're interested.
This marks the first tyime CVOA has ventured into the Moosehead region ... but it won't be the last!
Maynard's offers a great hunting camp experience with rustic cabins on the Moose. There's a boat launch, swimming and a big lodge for social gatherings and meals (which are included) and a firepit for late night gatherings.
Trip organizers Linda Trueworthy, Sandy Jamison and Nancy Perry have put together a mini-guide of activities in the area .. including hiking,
biking, canoeing, fishing and sightseeing opportunities. It will be sent out in
advance of the July 9-11 outing to those joining us on the
"adventure"
